Refocus on some of the elements that have to be present for us to effectively counsel people who are stuck in life-dominating sins. We’re not just personal spiritual trainers holding them accountable and blowing the whistle every time they fail. As counselors, God calls us to lead our struggling counselees to taste and see how good God is.
